Pressure Relief Damper

Pressure relief damper is a HVAC damper used in areas experiencing a build of pressure and requiring release of this excess pressure at regular intervals, in one direction. The release of this excess helps maintain or control the pressure in the zone, area or even inside the duct thus preventing the duct from damage. Pressure relief damper can be mounted on the wall or duct, depending upon the application.
Pressure relief dampers can be mounted either horizontally or vertically. However, care should be taken to mount the HVAC damper, by orienting the blades in the direction of the desired airflow. These HVAC dampers can operate on counter weights or motors.
Airmaster manufacture pressure relief dampers which are factory calibrated to operate at desired pressure levels. This is achieved by fixing weights to the blades. These weights are adjustable, they can be removed or altered on site should the site condition change. Additionally, the pressure relief dampers can also be provided with a client approved actuator, which will operate as per signal from the BMS system, regardless of the velocity or pressure.
Airmaster also manufactures other types of HVAC dampers such as volume control dampers ( rectangular and round) and fire dampers (UL 555 tested and approved).

Non Return Damper

Non return damper is a HVAC damper used in areas where air is supposed to flow only in one direction. Non return damper can be mounted on the wall or duct, depending upon the application. They are most commonly found being used in front of the fans where the blades are opened only when the fan starts and blades close due to gravity when the fans stops.
Description:

Non return damper is designed to allow airflow in one direction.
Frame is of high quality extruded aluminium profiled construction with the advantages of corrosion resistance and rigidity.
Air operated damper blades are fixed to the frame by self oiling nylon bushes with 8 mm dia aluminium pipes.
Blades are sealed with foam gasket at the bottom to avoid rattling noise and to provide air tight operation.
Blades open full or to any angle depending on the air velocity. Blades stay in position of opening without fluctuating when there is constant air flow. Blades closes quietly when the air flow stops.
Designed to maintain a constant pressure level inside pressurized rooms by relieving excess air when it exceeds the desired limit.
Generally installed on diesel generator, plant rooms ventilation system and exhaust ducting.
Available in square and rectangular sizes.

Application : Air intake, zone isolation, etc.

This model of volume control HVAC damper is exclusively designed for use in heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems for heavy duty applications.
Construction:

Frame: High quality Galvanized Steel sheet of thickness 1.2mm.

Frame Size: 180mm depth and 30mm flange height.

Blades: Double skinned aerofoil blades made from galvanized steel with 165mm blade spacing.

Drive Shaft: Electro plated rod of size 14mmØ.

Pre-Insulated Volume Control Damper can be mounted either horizontally or vertically. However, care should be taken to mount the damper, by orienting the blades in the direction of the desired airflow. Airmaster provides several types of volume control dampers to choose from.
Airmaster Pre-Insulated volume control damper is made of high quality Pre-Insulated board for light weight applications. It is mainly used in places where pre-insulated ducts are used.

The edges are joined using special glue and silicon.
